New Day MembersOn The Mission Field...Bryan A. | HAITI 2011______________________________________________________________________________________________________"Despite it being my first missions trip, my experience in Haiti is one I will surely never forget! I can proudly say that within that one week, I've grown closer to God than I have ever been in my entire life. The worship, teaching, and bonding with not only God but my missions team, friends, and people around me have made me the strong Christian I am today."Grace M. | HAITI 2011______________________________________________________________________________________________________"My first missions trip was to Haiti. It was sooo much fun! I felt special that God chose me to be able to make the Haitian people happy through dance. I would recommend going on any missions trip, because it opens up your eyes to so many amazing things." Homer C. | THAILAND 2010______________________________________________________________________________________________________"I have been on other missions trips, such as to South Africa, Brazil, and Mexico. Even after seeing these other countries, I've never seen greater devastation than what I saw in Thailand. The people are torn between Burma and Thailand, separated by a river, and guarded by the military. During the last outreach we did, the Thai soldiers allowed the Burmese people to come across the border. Some of the children didn't have clothing! About 2,500 came and about 2,000 came to Christ! Lana and the group that we went to help were awesome; they rescue children from slavery, prostitution, and abandonment. Overall it was a great trip. We had a wonderful time in Thailand helping the people. I hope to go back to continue serving the people." Keivonyea T. | HAITI 2011______________________________________________________________________________________________________"This trip was a lot more than a trip to me; it was a life changing experience. The people there were amazing; I fell in love with the people and the culture. They are so strong physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and they have such a strong passion for everything. I went on this trip to learn something and to help the Haitian people, but to be honest they helped and blessed me more then I feel I did for them." Rocio C. | THAILAND 2010______________________________________________________________________________________________________"In Thailand I was a witness to what God could do through the obedience of one person. I saw the love of God poured into each child that Lana Vasquez cared for, and I saw that same love in each one of those children's eyes. God showed me what He could do through each of us if we just have the courage and the faith to follow His vision. I will never forget how one person can, really, make a difference when God is beside them."
