Our Life Groups are the best place to connect, grow, and experience a sense of family. The Life Groups Team facilitates a group each week. We encourage you to join a life group.
Meet Our Life Group Facilitators
Dr. Elder Abraham & Mihloti Manase
Dr. Abraham is an Elder at New Day, and also serves as the Team Lead of Life Groups and Prayer Ministry. The Manases share a passion for spiritual growth and leadership development.
Robert & Fiennice Brown + Jarrell, Q Tellis
Minister Robert leads the Life Group based in Moreno Valley. He also serves as the Ushers and Greeters Team Lead, sings on our Praise & Worship Team, and is part of the Safety Team. He has a passion for teaching the Word of God, his family, public speaking & playing golf!
Tim & Mandy Johnson
Minister Tim serves on our Worship Ministry, and Mandy serves through dance. The Johnsons have been facilitating the Life Group based out of Riverside since 2017.
Tim Hunter + Treavone Garrett
Minister Tim is New Day’s Protocol Team Lead. He has a heart for serving others and is passionate about spiritual formation and football!
Elder Kelvin & Delisa Kelley + Kevin Cooperwood
Elder Kelvin serves as an Elder at New Day and the Men’s Ministry Team Lead. He facilitates the Life Group in Carson, along with his wife, Delisa, the heart and soul of the group.
Warren & Joyce Winston + George Britt
Warren and Joyce lead the Life Group based in South Corona. Not only are the Winstons faithful servants of the Life Group ministry but share a passion for helping single and married couples have strong, Christ-centered relationships.
Pastor Todd & Cassandra Lynch
Pastor Todd is the former Worship Pastor for New Day. He and Cassandra recently relocated out of state, but remain faithful servants to the Life Group ministry. The Lynchs have a strong passion for helping faith worship, and marriages grow.
Iva Stacy + Dr. Jean, Shirley, Vivian
Iva Stacy not only serves as a Life Group facilitator but she also supports the administration team at New Day! Iva Stacy is passionate about serving God’s people and she loves to have fun!
Sean Aubrey + Samira Burn
Minister Sean has faithfully served in Life Group ministry for many years. He is also a vocalist on our Praise and Worship Team.

Pastors Daniel & Arlene Valdivia
Pastors Daniel and Arlene facilitate our Español (Spanish) Life Group. They serve on the Personal Ministry Team and lead Abounding Ministries, a non-profit organization committed to helping the most vulnerable, children in need and without family. They also serve as the pastors of Led By the Holy Spirit church.
Frequently Asked Questions
Life Groups are small, home-based bible studies where friends and members of New
Day gather to fellowship and study the Word of God. These studies are interactive,
relaxed, and casual. This is the best place to connect with like-minded brothers and
sisters in Christ, grow in the Word, and experience a sense of family with other
believers.
Most groups meet on Tuesday evenings, but we also have two Wednesday afternoons and one
Thursday evening group.
All groups meet online via Zoom except for two on Tuesday evenings and one Thursday evening.
Absolutely not! Anyone who wants to learn more about God’s Word is invited to join a
Life Group. Many groups have members from other cities, out of state, and even from
other countries!
