Volunteer Opportunities

Our annual festival is a fun and safe celebration of the harvest for families to enjoy all the festivities at New Day on October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Be a part of the fun and bless the community by volunteering at our Third Harvest Festival. Volunteers are encouraged to wear costumes that are kid friendly, harvest or fall themed. It’s all about reaching out and serving others, so we invite you and your community to enjoy the festivities.

Trunk or Treat is a main attraction at the Harvest Festival! We open our trunks for kids in the community to come by and receive all kinds of treats. Volunteers park their vehicles in a designated are on our lot, make their trunks look fall festive and kid-friendly, and fill their trunks with sweet confections. Trunk or Treat will set up between 4 and 5:30 p.m. and will be available during the entire festival.

From pumpkin carving to face painting, we host several fall-themed activities for kids to be creative and make crafts. Volunteers provide a fun, artsy space for kids, give prizes, and assist with set up and breakdown of the Arts & Crafts area. There are various times that a volunteer can select to help in this area.

There’s no sweeter treat than making a kid smile. Volunteers help coordinate or host interactive games and cheer on our kids. If you are high-spirited, like to play games, and want to help put a smile on a kid’s face, then this area is for you. There are various times that a volunteer can select to help in this area.

Whether it’s sweet candy apples or street tacos, our vendors please the crowd. We collaborate with organizations to help offer a variety of treats to families during the festival. To be a 2019 Harvest Festival Vendor, vendors must be available during the entire event. More vendor details will be provided, upon your submission below.

We graciously receive donations from those who generously help make the Harvest Festival a positive impact in our community. If you are unable to volunteer at the festival or just want to bless local families, simply click here to donate, select “Other” in the Fund section, and type in the Memo section “Harvest Festival 2019.” We appreciate your generous blessing.

Each year, our guests look forward to a safe and fun night at our festival. Our friendly and enlightened volunteers are visibly positioned at the kiosk and throughout the festival to ensure our guests are aware of all attractions and amenities at the venue.

The Harvest Festival is distinctly organized to create a fun and safe atmosphere. Volunteers set up and break down equipment for the festival, while ensuring the safety at the venue.
